David has spent over 35 years teaching roller skating — building confidence, community, and lifelong skills for skaters of every age. He's taught hundreds of students around the world, including at the Skate Love Festival 2021 in Barcelona, and brings 25+ years of tech industry experience to how he runs Blue Skate.
Blue Skate LLC partners with NYCDOE, NYC Parks, Millennium Development, Chaya Skates, and Substance Skatepark to mentor youth — pairing skating skills with life skills like resilience, safety, and getting back up after a fall.
